I am still working on the new barn/scene thing. I got 1 hay net finished, I got all the stall pieces made and I started working on some of the detail things for the tackroom. I made a metal hanging saddle pad holder and I am going to start making some portable saddle racks today. I am going to try and make a portable metal saddle stand out of wire. I know how to do it, it's just getting it to look good that might be a problem. I will try and post pics tonight of tomorrow, but I don't have my camera, only my cell phone, which doesn't take good pics.
Today I was looking online and saw that Rough Riders is having a Mini division in their 2 day show. I really want to send horses, but I am a little nervous about it. I don't know any proxy showers around here and I'm not sure that people are just going to offer to take my horses. I posted an ad on MHSP saying that I was looking for someone to proxy for me or someone to ride with, but I just don't think that it is going to happen. I would LOVE to go to the show myself, because I haven't been to a live show in years and it would give me a chance to show a few of my best friends horses for her, since she does it for me. the show is in Fargo, North Dakota, which is a pretty far drive for the Twin Cities. Plus the mini division is on a Saturday, so I would have to drive out on Friday and either drive back right after the show or drive home on Sunday. And if I drive home on Sunday I have to take me only 2 days for week and use them on the weekend, when the bakery is the busiest. I'm hoping that someone will be willing to proxy for me, and I'm REALLY hoping that it is someone that I have heard of or possible worked with before.
