The excitment of finding all this info lead me to decide that he should be brought back to the show ring. I don't know if he will be on my Photo show string for the remander of this year, but I have decided that he will be going to Hoolow Horse Live with the rest of my show horses. I want to see if he still has what it takes. I guessing that he doesn't, but I feel like I have to give him a chance now that I know he once was a top placing show horse. I believe that I am going to use his old show name, I have no idea what it means or where it came from but I am going to use it. Just a few days ago I had plans sell the horse. I have hope for this horse, even if he only has
This afternoon after getting home from a family reunion, I decided to check MHSP. While crusing through the Custom page, I noticed a pic of a horse that I bought earlier this year. I clicked the ad and discovered that the lady I bought the horse from found his old NAN cards! I was really excited about this, I never knew that he had been to a Live show let alone placed and got NAN cards!!! So I decided that I was going to do a little research on him. The lady I bought him from didn't know much about him and I didn't either. I searched the name on his belly. and found a bunch of pics of different model horses on the Model Horse Gallery. I decided to click it and look at the paint page. And at the bottom, there he was! His show name is Chimaera's Copper, he was customed from a G1 Quarter Horse Stallion in 1998 and was painted (I believe) by Shelly Nelson. She wrote a different name, but I found on several websites that she had a couple different last names.

I move in 3 days and I am getting really excited. Of course, I still don't have everything packed and I still dont have everything I need, but I am getting close. Today I went and had lunch for the last time with my friends :( I had a great time hanging out with them, but I am going to miss them a ton!!
Yesterday and today I worked on a couple horses. I touched up Heza Sweet Temptation. I liked his pattern, but it wasn't up to par. I added some rough edges and I think that he looks a million times better. I totally finished my Edgar Allen resin and I think he looks pretty good. I painted him after a Hanoverian stallion I have always liked. He is a deep black with 4 socks and a skinny blaze. It was the first time that I ever had to paint a base. So I decided to paint it slightly darker then brock red. I love how it turned out!! I kind of want to do another one. I will hopefully post pics of both horses before I leave. I have to get all of my horses packed up and ready to be sent to their other home in Florida. They will be going to Georgia with the coolest person Well next Monday I move to Rochester. I will be starting school on the 22nd for Equine Management. I am really excited! I have been wanting to do this for a long time and I finally have the chance. Things are going to be a little stressfull untill school astually starts. But I think the most stressful thing for me is the horse. He will be coming down to Rochester with me, but he can't come down at the same time as me. There is a chance that he might not be able to come untill the end of September, which would really suck. I leave in less then a week and I still have everything to pack/get. I haven't even started packing clothes. I have some of the stuff I will need packes, but not everything. There are still a few things that I need to buy, but I am hoping to get them down there so that I don't have a million things in my tiny car.
I bought some horses horses last week, I know, like I need anymore horses. And yes, one is for cm. I decided that I will take the G3 Pony and turn it into a hunter pony. Braided mane and tail, lower neck/head and removing all those feathers. I hope he turns out because that would be super cute!!! I have more horses to finish and even more horses to list on MHSP.
Tomorrow I am going down to Rochester to visit a school. I have been thinking a lot about going back to school and I have pretty much decided that I am. If I don't go to this school in Rochester then I will be going to school online. I am going for Equine Sciences or Equine Managment. I have been wanting to go to school for this ever since I started working with horses and I finally decided that its now or never. I really hope the Rochester school works because there are so many cool things about it. First of all, I would be getting out of the house. Now don't get me wrong, things have gotten better here and I like living here, but I'm going to be 22, it's time to move out. Second, they have a IHSA riding team. I could ride against other colleges on other horses. I have always thought that it would be really cool if I could ride on a college team. I'm going to work on some h Last night around 10:00 I decided that I wanted to work on some horses. I didn't want to work on any cming so I decided I was going to try my hand at painting a bay and pasteling. Well, they turned out ok, at least for my first time. I need to keep working on it, I really don't want to be painting black and white horses for ever! I started with the bay, I used acrylics and painted him in layers. I started with the lightest color and worked my way darker. I think I thinned the paint down too much though. I am going to remove the paint and try again later today. Then I tried to pastel a dapple grey horse. I did it the way Breyer suggested doing it. With rubbing achohol and qtips. Again, I still need to work on it and I think this time I will use a reference. I didn't last night so I didn't know where to put the pastels after I finished his hip. So it looks really funny. I am going to pastel the other side of him tonight and this time I will be finding a good reference.
