This is the first side that I did, and I really love it. It looks way better then it did before and I was thinking about maybe doing some limited showing with this horse.
So last night when I was really bored, I started working on a horse that I had etched several years ago. I liked the horse when I first did it, but as time went on, I started to see that the horse was not really realistic. So last night I started etching it again, this time making the pettern look more edgy. The pattern is overo, so I needed to make the edges less smooth and more crazy. This is the first side that I did, and I really love it. It looks way better then it did before and I was thinking about maybe doing some limited showing with this horse. But really don't like that other side. I just looks too bald for this horse. Compared to the other side, it doesn't look right. I have to do a little more work on the hip, it looks really odd. I really think that this side should of had some brown spots left in the hip and barrel areas, but these areas were already etched away. I am going to start another etchy tonight, I know that I will be bored enough. I haven't decided what pattern yet, but I am thinking about doing any appaloosa. I haven't tired one yet with etching, but I am going to try anyways.
