After doing PM chores tonight, I went a bought a microwave since I had been using theirs. While dinner was cooking (meatloaf and it was delicious) I washed and dried dishes. As I was putting them away, I realized something, a lightbulb if you will. I can move my food back into the kitchen! For the last 9 months, I have been keeping all of my non-perishable food like soup, crackers, pop etc. in my bedroom closet. It was taking up a ton of space which sucked all year. But now that my roommates are gone and I am the only one living here, I can put my food in the kitchen and not have any of it munched on without me. I moved all the food out of my room and realized that I actually have space in my closet. Space that I'm not sure what to do with yet, but will be filled soon enough. I'm sure I will spend the rest of the night reorganizing my room (again) and putting things in better order.
It's going to be fantastic being able to go to bed and not have anyone wake me up, eat the food that I buy and be able to buy fresh food and make meals, not just live off of frozen meals (they had that fridge so full of junk it was crazy)
Today's picture is of Dante, before he realized I didn't have any cookies.
