I recently started showing Original Finish horses so I trimmed the number of micro horses I brought to make it a little easier on myself. What I did bring, did well and I am pleased with how it went. This show didn't have blue ribbons or rosettes. Instead they used Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs for 1st place horses and large candy bars for champ and reserve. I was glad I won enough candy to get me through the car ride home.
The classes weren't very big but they still managed to bring home some good placings. The highlight of Halter was Primrose, the cantering stock horse micro. Not only did she win her Quarter Horse but she was also Reserve Champion of the Artist Resin Stock Division! Granted there was only 3 horses in the Quarter Horse class and I owned them all, but there were some really nice horses in the Stock Callbacks. I was over the moon happy with her winning the reserve.
I am working on another blog post that covers everything that has happened since the quarantine. There have been several photo shows and fun things happening in my studio.
Until next time: Enjoy the sunshine
