I still haven't gotten all my my stuff finished or ready for the trip. All the of the NAN horses need to have ears and hooves touched up before I leave, I still have horses to finish for the Resin Futurity AND I don't have any sort of game plan for Breyerfest.
This year I won't be doing everything like I wanted to. No workshops and possibly no farm tours, but I'm still not sure on that one. There are few openings for tours on days that I have time and it will already be a full and expensive trip.
But on a plus note, my hotel and travel is all paid for. I will have some money left over to buy me Breyerfest models and walk through the room sales. I'm hoping to find a few more Ideal Quarter Horses for the conga, since I am needing so many. I figured at this point if I want to get them all I'm going to have to settle for getting a few with rubs or scratches. To be honest I don't mind if they do, they are just going to be sitting on the shelf anyways.
All in all, I'm really glad that I am going. I need the break from work and life. It will be good to surround myself with hobby related people who don't wonder why I am a part of it and can enjoy it.
It's very likely the next time you hear from me I will be in Kentucky, or at least well on my way there!!!
T-12 days till departure!!!!!!
