On a less depressing note, I have been working on a few new horses. You can see pics of them in the In Progress page. Both need a lot of work still, but I think they are coming along nicely. I haven't decided if I will keep them or not. I would like to send them to the show some of my other horses are at, but I just don't know.
As you all know, this hobby can have its ups and downs. I have been having a lot of both recently. I get to send my horses to another Live show, which makes me very excited. I got a couple of Champions and Rserve champions in a couple different photo shows. But I have been having lots of problems trying to get my family to understand how much I love collecting, showing and customizing model horses. It is really hard to be excited about all the good and amazing things that have happened to me in the hobby when they don't really care about it. To them they are just plastic horses, but I try to stay positive about the whole thing. I tell myself that it doesn't matter that they don't understand and probably never will. And that as long as I am proud of my accomplishments that it will be worth it. Does anyone else have this problem too? Or I am the only one that has to fight for the respect of being in a very competitive hobby?

I know how you feel about nobody being appreciative. My "studio" on the back porch is just taking up room and ruining the table. And nothing I paint is really LSQ for all I know, so its like.. what's the point of having this hobby? Well, POO ON THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND!!
