I should have started the race one first, it would have been soooo much easier. Race track stalls are all solid walls and the door swing open/closed. It would have been a great one to start with since I didn't have to do bars on the stalls. But, I decided to make a horse show stall setup instead. It will be really cool when Its finished. It will have 2 stalls, 1 will be a normal stall and the other stall will be made into a tack room. I am going to make portable tack holders for it, but they will be permanently attached. But last night I decided that it would be really cool to have a hay net go put inside the stall. Big mistake. I have made them before, but I always made them traditional scale. Stablemate scale is a lot harder. Once I figured out how the far to space the knots apart, it went a little easier. I am going to make another one to put in the tack room, for looks. But I am thinking about making some and selling them online. They look just like the big ones, but they are made out of string instead of nylon rope. I don't know. I will finish this one, get some hay in it and post pics and you can tell me what you think.
I was really bored last night so I decided to make a hay net for a Sm scale scene I am working on. I decided that since I sold the big barn and that I had several other people interested in it that I would make something else. I have been wanting to make a Sm scale race track 2 stall setup and do a 2 stall barn one as well.
