Here is the bay. I didn't prep this one, so you can still sort of see the spots under the paint, but who cares. I still need to work on blending the black a little more, but I think its an ok start.
Ok, so I took pics of the horses I tried to paint last night. I know the bay horse is missing a leg, and am ear, but I figure broken horses are the best ones to practice on!! Here is the bay. I didn't prep this one, so you can still sort of see the spots under the paint, but who cares. I still need to work on blending the black a little more, but I think its an ok start. This is the chestnut I tried to paint. Don't let the color on your screen fool you. It really looks like poop brown. Not the greatest looking horse I have ever painted, but at least I tried. This horse might just be given a respectful burial outside and then we shall never speak of this horse again. Poor little bugger :( (yes, this horse is missing a leg too) The last horse is another horse that I started a long time ago and never finished. I am going to finish him and sell him. He will be super cheap since I am just starting out and he doesn't have the greatest looking pattern. Show for the Cure is today!!!!! I can't wait to hear how every else did at the show. I know Ashley is going to have some places, that Deckerette (sp?) is just a sexy little model and the lady judges seems to fall to pieces before him ;)
