I just got my results from Show for the Cure. Considering that there was no mini division, I am pleased with my horses. It was a tough show, I knew that going into it. Sweet Impression placed 3rd in both his Quarter Horse and workmanship class. That horse seems to always suprise me. No one else placed, but that's ok. This show has made me change how I pick my shows from now on. I will only send horses to shows with mini divisions. Minis just get over looked too much. Traditional scale horses are bigger, so they grab the judges attention more. It's ok. I know that my little guys will win again some day.
One slightly sad note today. Who Invited You broke a leg, again. It''s the third time she has broken a leg. That resin just has such tiny legs, they are really thin through the cannon area. I am thinking that it might be time to retire Who Invited You from the live show ring. She got a NAN card, which is a huge thing for me since I only have like 15 horses, total. So I might just show her in photo shows and turn her out to the pampered pasture on the shelf to roam for the rest of time.
